虽然依然是披着异域风情埃及文化外衣的西方凝视作品，内核剧情程式化严重，不论是怀揣音乐梦的埃及公主还是被心魔影响的前战车手，从一出场他们不对付就能猜到在一系列冒险之后他们必定相爱，小弟和宠物鳄鱼必定作为插科打诨的可爱助攻出现，但好就好在反派是“爱考古的”英国佬：你们这些贼，还我第三世界国家财富来啊！
