　　所谓“绊脚石”是一些刻有铭文的地砖,不同于普通的街道地砖,“绊脚石”由黄铜制成,并突出地面,就如它的名字一样,行人会被这些特殊的“迷你纪念碑”出其不意的绊一下,但这并不是什么恶作剧,凡是安置“绊脚石”的地方,都曾经有犹太人被纳粹分子揪出他们的住宅,强行送往集中营。艺术家希望以此提醒德国民众,纳粹主义的邪恶和犹太人遭受的苦难。
