　　青年导演弗朗西斯•麦格（Mehdi Belhaj Kacem 饰）计划拍一部反毒电影，影片讲述了一个女子沉溺于都因无法自拔，最终走向毁灭的故事。他在路上偶然邂逅学习表演的女孩露茜（Julia Faure 朱丽娅•福雷饰），两人一见钟情，弗朗西斯更决定启用露茜出演片中的女主角。
　　然而影片的融资出现问题。连续几个制片人都因各种理由退回剧本，令弗朗西斯备受打击。终于有人同意投资拍摄，但讽刺的是，投资人却提出让弗朗西斯帮助运送毒品……
　　本片荣获2001年威尼斯电影节评审团大奖。
