　　蔡明亮受邀为纪念普契尼一五○周年诞辰，回马来西亚拍摄短片《蝴蝶夫人》。蔡明亮的新版《蝴蝶夫人》，比大家熟悉的经典故事更悲惨：一个女人在宾馆与人上床，男人没付钱就跑了，她只好自己付钱，并因此身无分文地流落车站，等待不知是谁会来拯救她。
