早上读文字，中午看影像。什么都代替不了文字，尤其是杜拉斯的文字。杜拉斯的罗马，完全不同费里尼的罗马。安静、音乐、对话。日和夜都是纯粹的。

挺有创意的，换了语言。显得更加陌生一些。比较元电影。类似《卡车》1977，不过去掉了卡车这个客体，直接横漂移观看城市。杜拉斯阿克曼还挺相互影响的。感觉看了好多旅游片。结尾和《无限阅读》1981一样的音乐。机翻：“这部电影的主题是一个男人和一个女人之间的对话。一对夫妇，可能是恋人，可能是已婚，都无所谓。（......）在这段对话中，我们看到的不是罗马城。我想传达的是罗马在我心中激起的东西，一种内在物质的感觉，不可分割的，与巴黎不同，由小公园和空地组成，天空和风穿过。两个恋人假设更清晰，更明确的形式。但在我看来，尽管无法描述和拍摄罗马，但永远无法完全理解夫妻相爱的困难。”
