　　炎热无比的撒哈拉沙漠中心，一片荒芜，寸草不生，更不见任何生机。就在此时，傻乎乎的兔八哥（梅尔·布兰科 Mel Blanc 配音）却来到此处度假。他扔出太阳伞和防晒霜，指望在风景如画的迈阿密好好享受一番，却不知自己来错了地方。他跑了好久也没见到大海，还以为刚好赶上了退潮。好不容易找到一处水潭，只不过那水实在少的可怜。就在此时，一头矮小的骆驼载着坏脾气的红胡子到来。当红胡子训斥他的骆驼时，洗过澡的兔八哥不小心扔到了这个家伙。
　　暴跳如雷的红胡子开枪瞄准兔八哥，茫然不知所措的兔子夺路逃跑。杳无人烟的沙漠，傻乎乎的追逐战开始了……
