Niyi Akin is an actor, best known for Boarders and What It Feels Like for a Girl. He trained at The BRIT School before graduating from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art with a BA (Hons) in Professional Acting. His screen credits include After Everything alongside Hero Fiennes Tiffin, Wake-Up, Rebel Cheer Squad, and The Diplomat, where he plays the son of Danny Sapani. He will next appear in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, directed by Destin Daniel Cretton.

In 2023, while filming Boarders, Niyi co-founded Ignorance Prevails alongside actor-filmmaker Blair Gyabaah, with the company launching publicly in 2025. Through the company, he produced and directed his debut project, EVOL, which was selected for the North East International Film Festival. He also serves as Executive Producer on two upcoming projects, starring as the lead actor in one and directing the other, both set for release this year and next.
