和之前在圣丹斯的那部《九天》很像，都由主角在干净、满是奇象的后末日世代展开，执行某件好像能被理解、又不能被理解的事情；搭配的视觉语言同样也是延续了似梦似幻的世界构建，以及让人有些沉醉（昏昏欲睡）的直观布景。也有些《人生切割术》的一脉相承，古怪的系统文化、对个体的掌控。种种相似与互相比照之下，留下的故事零碎、也未曾抛出它在充满吸引力的梗概之外，更具个性的东西。Anna Gunn顶着一头古怪的头发偶尔闪现，Matt Dillon适时有几个摆拍，《王室》里的“Liam”也来了…什么都有，什么也都没有。【2021 Venice Film Festival Orizzonti Extra 8/8】
