　　相貌平平的打工仔吴明，乃超级影迷兼追星族，为此甘愿到云山电影院当一名勤杂工。
　　吴明暗恋正红得发紫的漂亮女明星白雪，曾有几次近距离接触白雪的机会：如到白雪主演的影片中当群众演员，白雪出席电影院的首映礼时被追星成狂的疯汉劫持，吴明又挺身救美。但“白天鹅”的明星架子颇大，对“吴蛤蟆”总是十分傲慢无礼，令他好不沮丧。
　　白雪树大招风，遭到圈内坏人的嫉恨，被诬藏毒，一夜之间声名狼藉，她主演的最新儿童片《妈妈别哭》因此而无人问津。坏人又暗中做手脚，使白雪在拍戏时负了重伤，双目失明。她最信赖的未婚夫——某影视公司经理张鹰，竟出卖了她，在她最困难的时候离她而去。
