　　夜深人静时分，某户人家，女主人瑞秋（Kerry Finlayson 饰）躺在床上酣睡。周围的柜子上摆满了她和丈夫丹尼（Edin Gali 饰）的照片，两人恩爱的样子令人无比羡慕。转眼到了午夜，刺耳的电话铃突然传来。瑞秋从睡梦中惊醒，她睡眼惺忪，可是没有摸到电话。于是回身推了推旁边的丈夫，想让丈夫帮着接电话，但是丈夫根本没有任何反应。瑞秋没办法，只能坐起身来，从丈夫那边的床头柜找到了电话接听，谁知话筒中传来的竟然是丈夫的声音。原来丹尼需要熬夜加班，晚上无法回家了。
