　　乌云密布，崎岖不平的山峦之间，狩猎的男人刚打死了一只猫头鹰。猫头鹰中枪身亡，坠落林间。一个神秘的长发女人正在屋内梳妆打扮，面露一丝诡异的表情。屋外，枯败的树根交错盘旋，仿佛一个黑暗恐怖的亡灵之境。狩猎者再次带上他的猎犬上路了。浓雾弥漫的林间，无数死去猫头鹰的羽翼漫天飘零。男人变成了麋鹿。室内，女人起床梳洗。窗外微风拂面，她看见远处森林里的麋鹿。女人变成了猫头鹰。猫头鹰开始猎杀麋鹿，一场血腥的厮杀。女人胜利了。然而屋外不断蔓延着的枯树，更加肆无忌惮的生长，好似预示着什么事情并没有终结。暴雨倾盆的洞穴里，男人正在等待雨停，继续猎杀猫头鹰。
