　　在《烟花（档案）》中，阿彼察邦持续与他喜爱的演员合作，作品呈现老挝和太过便捷的小城镇Non Khai中，Wat Koo Kaew神庙里的动物塑像。寺庙的建造者Luang Pu Bunleua Sulilat根据幻想、民间故事以及政治神话创造了这些雕像，以传扬他所信奉的佛教中关于爱与生命，传说与轮回的教义。60年代冷战时期，他因被指为共产党员而流亡老挝。在忠样的压迫和不公平对待下，这些地方雕塑象征着Luang Pu Bunleua Sulilat的抗争。影片在黑夜中拍摄，多位演员一边放烟花一边拍照，在光与影中嬉戏，并将记忆编索为档案。《烟花（档案）》邀请观众与演员一起亲密地漫步于寺庙的土地上。这件作品最初在墨西哥城的Kurimanzutto画廊展出，也是《烟花》系列中的第一件作品。
