　　女孩伊埃米生活的环境正面临存续的危机，她的族人凋零，传统领域受到破坏，那是世界上森林消失速度最快的地方——查科（Chaco）。伊埃米游走在从小生活的热带雨林里，各种记忆涌现，风动、叶摇，林中奔走的鸟兽乘载着千万年的历史，传说中的鸟神Asojá幻化成女性，喃喃吟唱着关于天地万物的故事。
　　本片以巴拉圭雨林中流离失所的原住民社群爱约列托托比埃格索（Ayoreo Totobiegosode）为背景，以魔幻写实的风格讲述一则万物受到现代化开发而侵扰的伤痛记忆。导演帕兹・安希纳深入当地丛林，仔细感受生命的脉动，透过镜头捕捉自然地景优美的光影变幻，细腻的田野录音与画面交织出更多想像的空间。游走在神话与现实之间，试图为这片即将消逝的神选之地铭刻下永恒的轨迹。

　　年轻的艾丽萨一直梦想着能在首都蒙得维迪亚开一家发廊，但却由于资金等问题一直难以如愿，因此艾丽萨始终和家人的关系十分紧张。最终性格叛逆不羁的她带着自己的两个女儿离开了家。
