2021年农历新年，香港。新冠肺炎下，香港与中国内地的双向通关计划仍未得到落实。由于往返陆港两地需隔离28天，许多内地学生不得不留在香港过年。对于他们中的许多人来说，这是第一次异地过年。我们通过社交媒体征集并拍摄了大家在新年这一天记录的影像，选择三条主线，剪辑成这部影片。其中，有人选择独自一人；有人宁愿逃离家庭，享受与朋友一起过年的氛围；有人通过视频电话向父母展示自己的同性伴侣，却无法向他们“出柜”。疫情阻断了空间，亦阻断了时间。本片以香港内地学生这一视角，探讨疫情下的年与家这两个概念，并反思疫情给人带来的影响。
