　　平静碧蓝的乐海之上，分别漂浮着两个美丽的小岛——交响乐岛和爵士乐岛。在一个晴朗的日子里，交响乐岛的宫殿内一如既往演奏着优雅曼妙的交响乐，小提琴宫女和竖琴绅士们跳着华贵的舞步。提琴皇后在轻歌曼舞中沉沉睡去，可是她身旁的公主倍感无聊。趁着母后不注意，她偷偷流出宫殿，凭栏望向对面的爵士乐岛。那里同样正在进行欢快喧闹的舞会，王位之上的萨克斯国王亲自主持，击打出奔放的鼓点。身边的王子似乎不太习惯这份喧闹，他也溜出王宫，在提琴公主的召唤下游到了交响乐岛上。
