詹姆斯拿着这份生死契约独自来到伦敦，和同伴特里.温切尔一起执行这份计划，然而成功刺杀后撤离的路上，他的同伴被击中头部，他们的车也出了车祸，詹姆斯也负了伤，这时在他临时藏匿点隔壁的邻居，十二岁的女孩Bennet发现了他，并给了他很多的帮助，而詹姆斯后来发现，Bennet的父母双亡，跟自己的外婆相依为命。不久后他被人诬陷为谋杀高级警官的凶手。他不得不藏匿起来，高级警官的女儿巴拉德继续彻查此事，渐渐的发现一切并不是像美国所谓司法部派来的官员所说的那样。詹姆斯不断的想办法逃走，在走投无路的情况下，他选择了将整个中情局的行动内容交给巴拉德而获取自由，在激烈紧张的生死追杀中，他最终逃脱了中情局对他的控制回到了蒙大拿州，继续过着农场的生活......
