　　2010年10月，澳大利亚著名纪录片导演罗本·纽厄尔(Robin Newell)赶赴郑州，跟踪拍摄了两期《临刑会见》后，制作了同名纪录片。2011年10月下旬，在意大利举行的第六届罗马电影节上，观众看到了《临刑会见》主创人员的身影，由中国大陆桥文化传媒公司和河南电视台法制频道联合拍摄的60分钟纪录片《临刑会见》入围第六届阿姆斯特丹电影节。
　　纪录片《临刑会见》大致介绍了中国的死刑制度等相关司法现状，主要侧重于丁瑜团队的工作流程，其中穿插了大量的丁瑜对死刑犯的访谈，也因而被称作电视节目《临刑会见》的国际版。
