　　这部节奏强烈，画面充满力量感的实验动画短片，向我们讲述了一个在现代化流水线上，诞生出的千篇一律的生活寓意故事。一具具相同模样的黑白小人，如蚂蚁般被欺压他们的狰狞巨人肆意奴役着。他们反抗挣脱，终于从奴隶制发展到了资本主义社会。然而资本主义最后又被共产主义所代替。
　　本部音乐动画短片始于一次音频实验，所有的片段画面都是为讲述这个音乐故事所服务，从而颠覆了以往传统制作动画的流程以及方式。导演Patrick Smith再次携手音乐家Karl von Kries，以短片《面具》对音乐本身进行了一次的完美诠释。诚如导演Patrick Smith所说，他希望通过这部高度符号化的片子，让人们反省对自然的滥用，对劳动力的剥削。

　　英国大文豪莎士比亚长什么模样？科学家利用3D计算机科技仿真出立体头像，只见大文豪满脸皱纹、白眉白胡，目光相当犀利，似乎少了点浪漫的气质。
　　莎士比亚(1564～1616)是16世纪的一代文豪，诗作剧作的影响力至今不坠；其实从16世纪起，西方就流行用蜡或石膏替死去的名流制作面具，用意在纪念和绘制肖像，1840年代，德国找到了莎士比亚的“死亡面具”(Death Mask)，科学家这次的制作方法，是采用计算机重塑脸孔和3D技术，把“死亡面具”立体化。
　　执导纪录片的克拉克(Stuart Clarke)表示，“法医的检验结果令人震惊，有强烈的佐证证实这个3D头像是莎翁生前的面貌。”克拉克的《死亡面具》团队同时还拍摄了拿破仑、华盛顿和林肯的3D头像制作过程。
